Dr. Carole G. Adams

Carole G. Adams, Ph.D. serves as the second President of FACE following Rosalie J. Slater, founder. She is the lead author and editor of The Noah Plan Principle Approach curriculum. She is also the editor of Nation Makers: the Art of Self-Governmentbased upon the original Rudiments of America’s Christian History, a primer in America’s Christian history and government to restore the knowledge and purpose of America’s founding to today’s American Christian. Dr. Adams founded and served as Headmaster of Stonebridge School, a Principle Approach demonstration school located in Chesapeake, Virginia. Her life and ministry in Christian education personify her chosen scripture, “Faith working through love,” (Gal. 5:6) as she has encouraged parents, inspired young learners and mentored hundreds of aspiring Christian educators through teaching that imparts the love and liberty of Jesus Christ. Carey Adams Woodruff

Carey Woodruff serves as Executive Vice-President of the Foundation for American Christian Education.  After her graduation from Marymount University (B.A).and Regent University (MBA), she founded Ukraine Children’s Project in 1997, a Christian humanitarian ministry to orphans in the Vinnitsa oblast of western Ukraine which she continues to serve today. Carey is the mother of two daughters who attend the FACE demonstration school in Chesapeake, Virginia, StoneBridge School.  Her particular interests include painting and furthering the restoration of American Christian education. Dr. Max Lyons

Max Lyons serves as Director of Teaching Services at FACE. He is a teacher, curriculum writer, and conference speaker, specializing in the areas of Bible, history, government, law, economics, and Biblical worldview. He has taught a Biblical worldview adult Sunday school class for two decades and served as teacher and administrator in three Christian schools since 1979. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Virginia Wesleyan College, a Masters in Christian School Administration from Regent University, and a Ph.D. in Christian Education from Whitefield Theological Seminary. Max and Margie have four children and seven grandchildren and they attend Kempsville Presbyterian Church. E-Mail Max Lyons

Amy Green

Amy Green serves as the Marketing and Development Manager for The Foundation for American Christian Education.  She has a B.S. in Business Administration from UNC-Greensboro and has worked for FACE for over 9 years.  Amy and her husband Rick have two children and her daughter is a graduate of the FACE demonstration school, StoneBridge School.   Amy and Rick attend Crosswater Presbyterian Church. Decie Rowlands

Decie Rowlands serves as Customer Service Representative with responsibilities of answering customer inquiries, coordinating FACE events, and administrating general office activities and staff support. Decie graduated from NC State University with two degrees, Business Management and Economics. She and her husband, Brent Rowlands attended Regent University, Virginia Beach, Virginia, where she worked on an MBA and he graduated from law school. She has been a full time Mom to 10 children, homeschooling with the Principle Approach for 25+ years, plus hybrid programs and private tutors. She also has worked part time for her husband’s law firm and has handled the accounting for their transportation business. Joel Cupp

Joel Cupp is the Shipping and Warehouse Manager, serving FACE since 2010. Joel is a multi-talented individual whose duties also include library assistant for the Hall-Slater Library. In his free time, Joel enjoys reading and learning from the old Puritan sermons contained in the Hall-Slater Library.
