The FACE Marketing Bootcamp aims to provide schools with the tools they need to effectively market their Principle Approach School to the community.
Many sessions are “hands-on” and include individual practical exercises
Participants will take-away:
- Your school mission’s distinction in the community among Christian schools and why my community should care; shifting “negatives” into positives, purging misconceptions
- Marketing Calendar—timely marketing system that works for re-enrollment and recruitment
- Suggested refinements for your school’s present website
- Ideas, ideas, ideas from decades of experience in Principle Approach marketing
- Video of your mission “commercial”
Participants will bring to the boot camp, if available:
- Branding, vision, and mission statement
- Your school’s results—scores (academics, PEERS, parent surveys, etc.)
- Current marketing materials; school calendar; marketing calendar
- Anecdotal evidence – testimonies, personal stories, etc.
- School’s business/marketing/fundraising plan or plans
PROGRAM
- Marketing: what and why?
- Principle Approach marketing? How it is different.
- Internal marketing for retention of current families and students
- External marketing for recruitment of new students—grandparents, church, community
- Identify unconscious ‘marketing’ activity and make it positive
- Messaging your mission distinctly in 30 seconds (elevator speech), 30 minutes (faculty meeting, chapel, etc.), 3 hours, (Open House), 1 day (event)

The “Marketing Boot Camp” is open to all Principle Approach Schools. Travel should be scheduled the day before and the day after the event, or no earlier than 6 pm on Friday.
The Marketing Boot Camp is included in the Leading Schools Program, so there is no cost for this training to those who have joined the Leading Schools Program. Additionally, transportation costs to Chesapeake are reimbursed. Housing in FACE host home and local transportation available upon request.
