Year Two: Applications for Authentic Christian Teaching and Learning
Onsite Monday, July 10 – Friday, July 14, 2023, Chesapeake, Virginia. The Foundations Course is a prerequisite, unless participant has equivalent previous training. Contact Dr. Lyons to discuss. Please note: because of the individual training and mentoring the Application Course is NOT offered online.
Mission: The development of an individual profile for internalizing Biblical classical Principle Approach teaching and learning to rebuild the culture multi-generationally for Christ His Story.
Applications is the second year, five-day course in the Principle Approach philosophy, methodology and curriculum towards becoming a certified master Principle Approach teacher. By applying the foundational teaching in the subject areas or grade levels, the method is internalized while preparing the participant with the ownership of the tools needed for authentic Biblical classical education.
Teaching Method: Direct instruction with participation by discussion and presentation; building the Applications record for all future teaching in individual circumstances (levels, settings, subjects, families, etc.); development of plans for implementation in local teaching setting.
Mentoring: Upon acceptance into the Master Teacher Certification Course, you will be assigned a mentor who will guide you, one-to-one, through the three levels of study, instruction, and performance.
Your Instructors: The Applications Course will be taught by master teachers and scholars. Dr. Carole Adams, President of FACE and architect of The Noah Plan Principle Approach curriculum; Dr. Max Lyons, Director of Teaching Services at FACE, author and co-author of six books; Gary Porter, constitutional lecturer and FACE docent; Dr. Mike Myers, Director of Leading Schools Program; Martha Shirley, Director of Professional Development at StoneBridge School; Margie Lyons, homeschool expert and author; Linda Andrus, Assistant Editor and former Master Teacher at StoneBridge School; and Chris Evans, Virginia historian.

Tuition: The five-day Applications Course (July 10-14, 2023) tuition is $495 per person. Participants must attend onsite on the FACE campus. No online classes available for this course. Meals and lodging are not included. This schedule is subject to change.
