Digging Deeper into Teaching and Learning: Applications Course 2021

The Foundation for American Christian Education welcomed 19 participants to the Hall-Slater Library and Teaching Center for our Applications Course the third week of July. The Course is the second of three weeks of training (over three years) in our Principle Approach Master Teacher Certification Program. Participants were from StoneBridge School, Christian Heritage Academy, Dayspring Christian Academy, Maximum Potential Christian Academy and several not connected with a particular school. We were excited to welcome two international educators, an administrator of a large Christian school in Bolivia and a teacher from Colombia, South America. Inspired teachers are now ready to complete their Practicum II and prepare to come to the Exhibition Course offered again next summer. They will present a Principle Approach lesson to the faculty and colleagues, and then graduate with a Master Teacher Certification.

Several comments from the Application Course participants include:

After Dr. Adams spoke, I knew why I was here. God is good.

My favorite session was the learner. I enjoyed what I was taught and I learned so much in a deeper way.

It was so encouraging to glean from the mentors.

I gleaned something from every session. I am taking back a deeper understanding of the Principle Approach and authentic education.

I have a renewed appreciation for my students.

This certification is an answer to my prayers.

FACE has the power to bless the nations!
