The Foundation for American Christian Education (FACE) hosted the Foundations course this year in two locations. Salt and Light Baptist Church in LaGrange, Kentucky, hosted a group of teachers poised to staff their new school opening in September. Jill White, the Master Teacher who headed the one-week training, was pleased with the reception of the Principle Approach® philosophy and methodology by the energetic group. The second week of training was held at the FACE campus in Chesapeake, Virginia. This group of enquiring educators found the week “life-changing,” with many expressing a newfound understanding and passion for authentic Christian education. The Chesapeake event culminated in a Christian History Field Study of historic Jamestown and Williamsburg led by Laura Caruso and Chris Evans.
The Foundations for Authentic Christian Education course aims to equip teachers with the foundational philosophy, methods, and curriculum of the Principle Approach, thus enabling a new generation to rebuild the culture multi-generationally for Christ, His Story. After completing the Foundations course and assignments, educators are eligible to apply for the Principle Approach Master Teacher Certification program.
