Year Two: The Application Course
Monday, July 6 – Friday, July 10, 2026, Chesapeake, Virginia.
The Application Course is the second year, week-long course in the Principle Approach philosophy designed for teachers to become certified Principle Approach Master Teachers. It equips teachers with instructional, planning, and curriculum skills, based in a Biblical philosophy.
Teaching Method: Direct instruction with participation by discussion and presentation The Application Course incorporates “workshop” sessions for teachers to build their own notebooks and lesson plans.
Practicum I: Candidates will select a history topic and develop seven lesson plans around that topic based on the seven principles of government as presented in Teaching and Learning America’s Christian History, learning to research, reason, and relate.
Mentoring: Upon acceptance into the Master Teacher Certification program, you will be assigned a mentor who will guide you, one-to-one, through the two-year study, instruction, and performance.
The Foundation Course is a prerequisite. To apply for Master Teacher Certification and be accepted into program, the candidate must complete the daily assignments in The Foundation Course and submit all required documents in the application. Please note: because of the individual training and mentoring, The Application Course is NOT offered as an independent study.
Your Instructors: The Application Course will be taught by master teachers and scholars. Dr. Carole Adams, President of FACE and Managing Editor of The Noah Plan Principle Approach curriculum; Dr. Mike Myers, Director of Leading Schools Program, and Linda Andrus, Director of Content Management and Master Teacher.

Tuition: The week long Application Course tuition is $495 per person. Meals and lodging are not included. This schedule is subject to change.

Homes: Limited space is available at no cost in the private homes of FACE staff and friends. Fill out the Housing Request Form once you have registered. Make arrangements early as free housing is available on a first come first served basis.
