Dr. Max Lyons was one of the keynote speakers at the Biblical Worldview Weekend Conference held at the World Outreach Worship Center (WOW) in Newport News, Virginia, October 25-26, 2024. Dr. Lyons’ topic was “Biblical Citizenship,” which means being a steward of self and civil government in America’s unique Christian Constitutional Republic.
Pastor Russell Evenson was inspired by the work of Verna Hall and Rosalie Slater to teach the whole counsel of God, including the Biblical principles of self and civil government and cultural issues. As part of this vision, WOW Church Pastors JR Gurley and Josue Vazquez have conducted Biblical worldview training since 2020.
Dr. Lyons and his wife Margie staffed the FACE information table, meeting church members interested in the story of America’s Christian history and Biblical form of government.
An enthusiastic group of patriots were empowered to think and act Biblically in every area of life. WOW Church will conduct two training events in 2025, in April and October.
