On March 2-3, FACE offered another Leading Schools Program and Ambassador Orientation. Participants included two educators from Minnesota who desire to start a Principle Approach school in their community. There were also four participants from Florida who came to learn more about the work FACE is doing in the education arena. They have a desire to connect people and organizations in key spheres of influence with what FACE is doing to help restore America’s crumbling Judeo-Christian foundation.
The two-day orientation began with an overview of the Biblical philosophy, methodology, and curriculum development of the Principle Approach. The group then visited the onsite Hall-Slater Liberty to learn about the history of the Foundation for American Christian Education and the Principle Approach from FACE president, Dr. Carole Adams. Executive Vice President Carey Woodruff shared the progress of FACE’s exciting vision to start 50 Principle Approach schools across America. Dr. Mike Myers, Director of School Leadership, presented an overview of the Leading Schools Program and how FACE supports school leaders in a variety of ways to create multi-generational teaching centers in their communities. The orientation culminated with a visit to Stonebridge School in Chesapeake, VA, a FACE Principle Approach Demonstration. Dr. Max Lyons, Director of Teaching Services, rounded out the orientation with an overview of the Noah Plan curriculum and other FACE support programs. The next Leading Schools Program and Ambassador Orientation will be help in Chesapeake, VA on May 4-5, 2023. Please contact maiah@face.net for more information.
