The annual Christian Education Summit (CEI) was held September 27-28, 2024, in Lynchburg, Virginia. This year’s theme was “Building Christendom through a Biblical Worldview.” The 85 attendees spent two days receiving updates from leaders in various ministries on the state of education in our nation with an emphasis on solutions.
FACE, a founding member of CEI, was represented at the event by Dr. Max Lyons, Director of FACE Teaching Services, and Kathy Radar, Director of FACE Development. Dr. Lyons presented a lecture titled “How to Train Teachers Biblically,” a practical session emphasizing Biblical worldview training for all teachers and mastering the teaching methods of authentic Christian education—The Principle Approach.
Dr. Lyons also presented Dan Smithwick, author of the PEERS Test and founder of the Nehemiah Institute, with the Noah Webster Education Award.
CEI is a Bible-based, evangelical alliance of 22 member organizations whose purpose is to advance the Kingdom of God by growing Christian education, thus helping fulfill the Great Commission and the cultural mandate.
