To revive American education, we need only look to our past.

These words are quoted from a nationally known American Christian investor, writer, and entrepreneur who understands the history behind the Biblical founding of our nation. To make this point, he cites the letters of 18-year-old Union and Confederate soldiers — “eloquent, grammatical, and handwritten in cursive” — as effective examples of what is lost today. Written when “graduating from high school once meant something,” the level of education those letters reveal, and the heights of reasoning demonstrated in state papers and our early literature, tell us that the blueprint for a new American golden age in education already exists, because we’ve done it before!

What a wise observation! Authentic American Christian education —the Principle Approach® — which laid the foundations of our nation, is documented in letters, histories, biographies, and the history of education itself. By reclaiming it today, we will ensure children can truly read, write, reason, debate, and most importantly, understand and love the country they inherit.

We could have generations who would respect the purpose of America in God’s Story, prepared to serve, lead, and live by Godly principles, and who could rebuild American culture on the liberty once won for us and too casually forgotten as it once was.

The exciting news is that this Ministry Report features some of those who have rediscovered authentic American Christian teaching and learning and joyfully practice it. Be encouraged that as the clouds part, the Gospel is re-welcomed into public life, the church rouses itself, and we remember the past, a “golden age” is now becoming a reality.
