The Christ and Culture Class at Kempsville Presbyterian Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is studying the new FACE publication, The Biblical Foundations of the Constitution of the United States of America (CHOC III).
Max Lyons leads the 35-member group that meets weekly through an in-depth study of the volume using the FACE Teacher Guide. Participants prepare for each class by reading and studying and come prepared for questions, observations, applications, and discussion.
The study has been inspiring and enlightening, with class members learning how the Bible is the true foundation of our US Constitution. One person remarked, “I did not know my Constitution well, but now I am correcting this. I am really enjoying this study!”
“In my studying of CHOC III, I am learning how ‘righteousness exalts a nation’ through godly and just laws and principles like those our Founders brilliantly expressed in our United States Constitution,” said another.
Verna M. Hall created the vision for this final volume of the Christian History series. CHOC III documents the theology and history of a culture that shared an understanding of natural and moral law and held the highest regard for Christian principles and morality.
