Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord.
Psalm 102:18
A new day has dawned in America—hope for “a future generation.” A day when “common sense” will once again be considered normal and American ideals restored.
What are those uniquely American ideals? …“Liberty under law,”…“Christian self government,” and …“the individual’s right to property,” particularly “conscience as the most sacred property.” These concepts were once considered “common sense” and the cultural norm in America.
However, through many channels, these principles were lost to social justice, diversity, open borders, confused sexuality, massive national debt, the plundering of American wealth, and the destruction of cherished institutions.
Why were we robbed of the very way of life that makes us the most American? One way was through the tax-supported government schools that were gradually infiltrated by communist and Marxist ideas beginning 100 years ago. As these insipid philosophies spread, our children were poisoned by a curriculum that teaches anti-American ideas, immoral life choices, and ultimately hate and disregard for our Christian history. The result is plain to see.
The truth is—ideas are all-important
Almost 250 years ago, our Founders made a declaration of independence from unlawful rule. Thirteen loosely organized colonies pressed forward to affirm their God-given rights over corrupt rulers, unfair taxation, and despotism. Today, we are witness to a similar revolution to free our nation.
The work of restoration
American Christians must restore our Christian history story—His Story—to our children and the nation. Webster’s 1828 American Dictionary of the English Language defines the word “restore” as “return to a person a specific thing he has lost.” It is interesting to note that the root word in restore is “store—story, history.”
The shocking revelation of the “state of the nation” and the depravity of the fall reveals much to repair and restore. Restoration must start with our children, schools, curriculum, teachers, leaders, and pastors. These are on the front lines and influence the next generation of Americans daily.
The Foundation for American Christian Education (FACE) has been at the forefront of restoration for over sixty years. The truth is, FACE was founded for this reason and moment. Co-founders Verna Hall and Rosalie Slater researched and studied America’s Christian history; they forewarned us of the consequences of straying from our Biblical and historical foundations.
How to “reaffirm” the blessings of liberty
Our mission at FACE is to teach Americans their Christian history and the method of authentic American Christian education generationally. The Principle Approach® is the historic and Biblical method of education that enabled our founding population to attain almost 100% literacy, which produced citizens who could reason, write, and clearly articulate the principles of liberty. Their ability to pen those ideas gave us our Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution. Their Christian character of diligence, bravery, brotherly love, self-sacrifice, and conscience undergirded them to stand up to the most powerful military force in the world at that time and prevail.
To the future generations
What will we leave our future generations? Will we equip them with knowledge of their Christian history?… an understanding of the Biblical principles of our government? Will they attain the level of literacy and mastery needed to manage freedom? We are only as free as we teach those who succeed us. And as Scripture admonishes us, it must be “written for a future generation,” or they have no hope of knowing Christ or liberty.
America’s greatest hour is ahead
I truly believe that America’s greatest sphere of influence is before us. A window of opportunity has opened to restore and renew our Biblical liberty. But we need your help!
Will you partner with us? Your gift will support the training of Principle Approach teachers, schools, and leaders and curriculum development, as well as outreach to pastors and patriots who realize the connection between the Gospel and liberty.
The FACE Foundation Course for this summer has been refined, simplified, and refocused, allowing more time to reflect on the basic principles. One recent Foundation Course attendee said, “I believe the Foundations Course is a must for all Principle Approach teachers and staff. We would not start a school without the Principle Approach and FACE. It already has changed our lives in all areas, including what we are speaking from the pulpit.”
In addition, our Master Teacher Certification program is growing, and The Leading Schools Program is expanding, guiding fledging Christian schools in the principles and practices of excellent Principle Approach school development and growth.
What kind of America will the future hold?
The next era of America is up to us. What will we do? Will we teach our children the “common sense” principles of liberty, or will we abandon the call to teach the next generation? Because of patriots like you who answer, Yes!, we can rest assured that America will remain the land of the free and the home of the brave, able to carry the light of the Gospel to the world.
Today, I invite you to join us in this mission to ensure that not only our children but those yet to be born will know the true story of America’s Christian history and God’s Gospel purpose for America—that the whole world might be free.
Thank you for your gift and may God bless you! Together, we can make all the difference generationally.
Teach the children.
Gratefully,

Carole Adams, President
P.S. A short window of opportunity has opened to restore the “common sense” principles of liberty to our children. The Principle Approach is the proven method to educate our children in Biblical liberty so that future generations can know God’s Gospel purpose for America. Please consider investing in partnership with FACE today! Thank you, and may God bless you!
The blessings of liberty in America cannot be perpetuated unless the principles of that liberty are re-identified and re-affirmed in each generation.
