FACE and StoneBridge School hosted Alex and Tina Newman and their four homeschooled children in Tidewater for five days at the end of May. It was a tremendous week with much excitement for Alex’s message. We began with a Christian history tour of Jamestown Settlement. Alex, Tina and family were joined by a dozen FACE friends and treated to an insightful and unique tour by Chris Evans and Dr. Lisa Morgan.
The tour was followed by a Rescuing Our Children and Our Nation event hosted by FACE volunteer Gary Porter. This event took place at Gary’s church, New Covenant Church in Hampton. Although the crowd was not large, it contained many leaders who were very responsive to this vital message.
On Tuesday, Alex taught the high schoolers at StoneBridge School on the subject of Free Enterprise vs. Socialism. This was followed by a StoneBridge School Tour and some one -on -one time at FACE where Tina and Alex learned more about the Principle Approach and explored the holdings of the Hall-Slater Library.
Wednesday was the big day, with an all-day event for local, state and national leaders at FACE and StoneBridge School. FACE leaders were excited to introduce approximately 30 Christian leaders to the FACE mission and the Principle Approach. This event included a tour of StoneBridge School which convincingly demonstrates to attendees the uniqueness and effectiveness of the Principle Approach philosophy, curriculum and methodology.
On Wednesday evening Alex presented to an enthusiastic crowd of approximately 120 patriots who are eager to know what we can do to save our Republic. Proceeding Alex was a presentation by Sophie Dudkovsky, daughter of Carey Woodruff, FACE Executive Vice President. Sofia presented her junior oration on the topic The Biblical View of Immigration.
Alex, Tina and family left Max and Margie’s home for Richmond on Thursday morning. Please continue to pray for this dedicated family as Alex continues his National Education Tour across our great nation.
