Part Two of Two
We should never despair, our Situation before has been unpromising and has changed for the better, so I trust, it will again. If new difficulties arise, we must only put forth New Exertions.
George Washington, July 15, 1777
Our first president, George Washington, reminds us not to despair. As we study history, we discover that many times liberty seemed in the balance, however, a call to return to individual and national righteousness will change our situation for the better.
Teach the Children:
- Study the Word of God for yourself at home, in school, and in private.
- Study The Ten Commandments, Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution to bring a firm conviction of the Biblical principles.
- Filter media opinions, peer attitudes, cultural trends and their own thoughts through the “conformity of heart and life to divine law”.
The effect of righteousness will be peace.
