The Constitution Seminar
September 19 All day
The Constitution is the supreme law of the land and the foundation for all federal law. Yet how do “We the People” judge whether our representatives in Congress are being true to the Constitution and worthy of re-election unless we know what it says and means? The privilege of voting carries with it a responsibility to do so intelligently and thoughtfully.
The principles of government imbedded in the Constitution are timeless, and will work to provide a stable government “for posterity” if we leave them in place to work as they were designed. But what are those principles? And how can we know they are retained if we are ignorant of them?
The Constitution Leadership Initiative, in partnership with the Foundation for American Christian Education, is pleased to announce The Constitution Seminar, Saturday, September 19, 2020. The live event will take place in the FACE classroom and live online. The Seminar will begin at 9:00am EDT and conclude at 6:00pm EDT, with a break for lunch. Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote that he is not making a present or a compliment to please an individual – or at least that he ought not so to do; but that he is executing one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country.Samuel Adams
