Jerry Newcombe, author of The Book That Made America: How the Bible Formed Our Nation, will trace prominent examples of how the Scriptures helped shape some key aspects of our freedom in this country. This includes a look at the Pilgrims, who gave us the Thanksgiving tradition. Their very name is derived from the Bible.
