The “Wall” of separation has stifled dissent in the public square. Americans are afraid of losing friends, offending their media “followers,” or even severing ties with relatives. Yet conversations about religion, politics and their intersection is precisely what we need more of, whatever the consequences. How can we best have such conversations?
