Field study of the Providential History of America’s Founding
Lead by Chris Evans
April 28, 2019 3-4:30 pm
The Providential History of America’s Founding field study will examine the historic events surrounding the landing, dedication, and permanent settlement of America. The story begins with the people and the vision of our grand-founders, many years before the landing at Cape Henry (First Landing), on April 26, 1607 and dedication service on April 29, 1607. Our grand-founders, men like Richard Hakluyt and others, were people who were influenced greatly by the English Protestant Reformation. This ensured that America was destined to be a nation based solidly on the principles of God’s Word.
Chris Evans has homeschooled her two children and also worked in promotion, publicity and history events at StoneBridge School. She has been politically active in public policy in conservative and social issues for 32 years. Chris has spent 25 years researching and studying Christian history specializing in the Providential history of America and the Virginia Colony. Chris has recently published Odyssey of Faith, a children’s book on the Providential history of Jamestown. Also available is a beautiful accompanying coloring book. The books are available in the FACE bookstore and will also be available at the tour.
