About The Noah Plan Program Overviews and Student Handbooks
When children reach fourth grade, The Noah Plan Curriculum is designed to encourage students to take ownership of their education with guidance from the teacher. Therefore, teacher and student subject overviews are available for grades 4–8 (The Noah Plan Program Overviews: Fifth Grade and The Noah Plan Program Overviews: Sixth Grade). In addition, the first student handbook and teacher planner CD is now available for the elementary level Bible as Reader Program. Because the parent and teacher understand the student’s strengths and weaknesses best, they decide when a student is ready to undertake this Advanced Reading Program: in fourth, fifth or sixth grade. This is only the first in a series of student handbooks scheduled to be written for elementary-aged children.

The first student handbook in The Noah Plan, this book guides the student in the Christian walk through studying the lives of Biblical characters and their walk with God, and also serves as a reader developing vocabulary, composition, reading, and reasoning skills. The font used in the book is one specially designed by reading experts to minimize the effects of reading disabilities such as dyslexia by ensuring that every character in the alphabet is distinct. Foreign Language
It is important for foreign language instruction to begin at an early age. Although we suggest French study be continued in fifth and sixth grade, we highly recommend that a romance language be taught every year.
